It is critical that Labour’s candidate for Ipswich has the local knowledge, campaigning experience and existing platform to stand at the next General Election.
I have fought campaigns on special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), school transport and children’s centres over a number of years, and have shone a light on poverty, pay and educational standards.
I have built up a strong profile in the media, appearing regularly on TV, radio and in the local papers. Through these platforms, I have been able to highlight the issues others have missed, maintain long-running campaigns and expose Conservative failings at a local and a national level.
Most importantly though, I have been able to give a voice to the voiceless, raising the issues that matter to them and helping people tell their stories. I will always remain a campaigner, always putting people first and always fighting to change lives for the better.
